ARN-ARC-HY

ARC are working with Breton net art collective Actions Réseaux Numériques (ARN), who have created Angle, a collaborative web tool which visualizes networks and links: between ideas, spaces, and people. ARN are interested in the interrelations between concept mapping and cartographic space. Angle users generate maps in virtual space which are snapshots of Internet activity. These traces can be edited, creating successive transformations through the flux of networked interaction. Angle is an ongoing and developing project: you are invited to make your own maps and contribute to the stock of ideas. ARN and ARC Co-director Chris Byrne are working towards ARN-ARC-HY, a public presentation of Angle in a physical venue during 2005.
