Threshold Wave

On 14 September, Scotland’s new digital arts space Threshold opens to the public. ARC Co-director Iliyana Nedkova is the Creative Director for this pioneering project.

Threshold is part of Perth’s stunning new concert hall. Half a million pounds has been invested to create an inventive playground for digital art, film, photography, sound and images, with a bank of 22 screens in the foyer, an interactive audio-visual doorway, giant projection wall and sound boxes in the floor.

A programme of new commissioned digital artworks for Threshold will be presented over the coming months, including works by Henna Asikainen & Silvana Macedo, Richard Brown, Susan Collins, Dalziel & Scullion, Su Grierson, Hamilton & Ashrowan, Beverley Hood, Dan Perjovschi, Rob Kennedy, Janek Schaefer, Michael Windle.
