Detail from poster

ARC Co-director Chris Byrne will present a poster session on free radio and community networks at ISEA 2006 Symposium, San Jose, from 9-13 August.

Community radio broadcasting as a movement for social empowerment is undergoing transformation and expansion. Grassroots digital wireless networks are enabling localised sharing of bandwidth and services.
