Crossworlds is to be unveiled at the Scottish Parliament on 30 November 2005. The first exhibition in the UK by young Bulgarian photographer Vera Raycheva, it captures the faces, streets, shores and sunsets of Scotland and Bulgaria.
This is the latest in a series of cultural events co-curated by ARC Co-director Iliyana Nedkova in her capacity as Honorary Cultural Attache to the Bulgarian Consulate. The exhibition celebrates the forthcoming accession of Bulgaria to the European Union in 2007. Following the showing at the Scottish Parliament, the exhibition will tour to the Foyer Gallery, University of Abertay, Dundee in December 2005 and the British Council Sofia in January 2006.
